‘Mrs. Eastwood and Company’ is a new E! reality show debuting tonight, Sunday May 20th, at 10pm. In the grand tradition of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ and the late lamented ‘Gastineau Girls,’ ‘Mrs. Eastwood and Company’ follows the impossibly wealthy family of one of America’s most famous people, Clint Eastwood. Clint, of course, is barely seen and the show does not promote him as being any real presence, which is good for him. Instead we’re treated to spending time with Clint’s wife, Dina, their 14 year old daughter, Morgan and Clint’s daughter with Frances Fisher, Francesca. Should their last names not be Eastwood, we wouldn’t be bothering with this, but it is, so we are. No use fighting it. Let’s grade this thing.

I have to give props to any woman who can capture and keep the attention of a man like the fictional Don Draper, even if she’s doing it while playing the role of someone else. In case you live under a rock and haven’t been watching season 5 of Mad Men, the woman to whom I’m referring is Jessica Paré, who plays Don Draper’s steamy second wife on the show. Jessica originally thought she was signed on to play yet another fling of Mr. Draper’s, and was surprised to learn one day that Don was going to propose to her character, thus securing her a regular role on the show. This type of trade-up in terms of roles has been typical of Jessica’s career, and I believe it’s only a matter of time before she trades in the small screen for marquee roles on the big one. Let’s take a closer look at this bilingual beauty, shall we?
